Bamboo fabric has the following benefits:

• Temperature regulating - helps keep your baby cool in the summer and warm in the winter 

• Repels dustmites

• Naturally breathable - bamboo is extremely lightweight and air flows through the fabric

• Static free and frictionless

• Moisture wicking and fast drying - perfect for absorbing water quickly after a bath, or even drying after dribble and spills

• Odour resistant

• Luxuriously soft - bamboo is softer than the finest Egypitan cotton

• Vegan friendly alternative to wool

Benefits for the environment 

 

Bamboo has the following positive impacts on the environment:

 

• Requires very little water to grow 

• Organic - no pesticides or chemicals are used to grow or cultivate bamboo

• Can be continually re-harvested without harm to the environment 

• Deforestation free - cuttings can be taken from the shoots and planted, meaning there is no soil erosion

• Extremely fast growing, in fact it can grow up to 2.5 cm every 40 mins

• Eco-friendly – bamboo is biodegradable and wood free

• Washes well at 30 degrees - dustmites and other allergens are usually killed at 60 degrees, and to kill bacteria fabric usually needs to be washed at 90 degrees. However, because bamboo is hypoallergenic, repels dust mites, naturally antifungal and antibacterial, there is no need to wash it at high temperatures
